OULANYAH TO MPs-WHAT YOU SAY REFLECTS ON PARLIAMENT
Deputy speaker Jacob Oulanyah has warned members Members of Parliament against reckless talk as statement they make affects parliament.
Oulanyah made the remarks in response to public outcry over statements made by Onesimus Twinamaisko where he supported the act of men beating their wives after the president had referred to such men as cowards. Oulanyah cautioned mps to remember that as they speak they speak for parliament and hence they should endeavor to respect it as there is no statement that can be made and will not impact on parliament.
Oulanyah also informed the mps that Twinamasiko will tomorrow make a personal statement on the matter.
