Uganda ranked as the 2nd most corrupt country in East Africa
Uganda has been ranked as the 2nd most corrupt in East Africa
Transparency International8 launched the new corruption perception Index which saw Uganda improve in its standing from the its previous position of 151 to 146 out of the 180 countries that were under the 2018 corruption perception survey.
This according to critics was a sign that may be the country still has gaps that are hindering its anti-corruption efforts, and that unless these gaps are addressed, the countries’ performance may never improve.
